Shopfloor Leadership
CONTUR Training & Management succeeded to answer its clients’ needs with new tailor-made programs for the development of management functions, team leaders, shift leaders, supervisors, that is: the entire first line management. We’ve accordingly redesigned and redefined the meanings of “leadership”, bringing it closer to the understanding of the individuals who have to cope with the team and its results – we refer to “shopfloor teams’ management”.
These first line managers are the ones bringing immediate results and are making the finality of the processes visible. They are the firefighters inside the organization.
By this program our goal is to make participants familiar with new tools of communication, feedback and assessment, to make participants understand the basic principles of leading a team, to let participants practice the tools of coordination, delegation, motivation and conflict management, and self assess of their own behavior and role in a team, management skills, and design the path to leading skills improvement.
