Contents
Intercultural communication and teamwork with Russian employees and business partners will be practiced interactively in realistic work scenarios. Under the supervision of your trainer you will develop appropriate action strategies and enhance your intercultural competence. We will mainly focus on the following themes:
- How are Germans perceived in Russia? What expectations are associated with a German business partner?
- Successful communication in Russia: establishing first contact, presenting yourself successfully, opening a business meeting, small-talk, acquiring, providing and forwarding information, accepting and refusing offers correctly, excusing oneself politely, establishing dialogues, developing convincing arguments (face-to-face, telephone and Email)
- Conducting effective negotiations and meetings
- Understanding and applying appropriate management approaches and styles
- Organization and planning: managing time, lead times, commitments and deadlines
- How to deal with information and knowledge transfer, training and leading Russian employees
- Identifying conflicts, understanding behaviors in conflicts, conflict management strategies
