Your Benefit
The main goal of this seminar is to prepare the participants to successfully pass the PMP® examination of the Project Management Institute (PMI)®, the world´s largest and most important project management institution which defines the globally recognized project management standards, methods and processes. During this seminar, you will be trained in the PMI® standards for initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects. These standards are described in the PMBoK® (Project Management Body of Knowledge, Third Edition, 2005). At the end of the seminar, you will be able to understand the PMI® terminology and processes for project management. You can apply for the PMP® certification at the Project Management Institute® and retrace the allocation of the PMI® knowledge areas to the respective PMI® process groups. You know and understand the contents of the PMI® knowledge areas and understand the concept of the questions of the PMP® examination. You can pass the Project Management Professional PMP® examination with the appropriate pre-preparation and/or post-processing.

Requirements
Experience in project management methods and processes. Experience in leading projects and/or sub-projects. In order to be allowed for the examination, a minimum of 36 months unique, non-overlapping project management experience is required within the last 8 years during which at least 4500 hours are spent on project management tasks (not necessarily project leadership).
Methodology
Supported by the trainer, you will work on the individual processes and knowledge areas using the PMBoK® together as special learning book. Lectures, discussion, exercises, question and answer sessions supplement the seminar schedule. In order to ensure the best possible learning achievement, the maximum number of participants is limited to 12.
