Our understanding of organizational and HR development
While training is geared towards the targeted development of specialist and professional skills, we consider organizational and HR development a long-term plan. It is measured with a holistic approach focused on the person and the organization.
More than ever before, we view companies as being in constant change,
attempting to adapt to new and changed demands of global competition or parallel changes in the sociopolitical environment (e.g., multiculturalness, demographics). The key is to respond to growing customer demands; to develop new, innovative products and services; to create competitive cost structures; and to reinvent work models and teamwork. Key is also enabling individuals to take ownership of their performance, careers, work time, and compensation in the meaning of employability. Often, these changes are perceived as a threat or loss by the person concerned, and less as an opportunity or challenge. However, those organizations that can quickly and efficiently realize the opportunity potential of such changes are the most successful. This requires a culture of learning, a high level of flexibility, a culture of leadership that is characterized by trust and a pro-change attitude, as well as strong self-empowerment at all levels.
