Course description
In this conflict management seminar, you will gain a deeper understanding of what motivates people’s behavior and how disruptions arise in people’s interactions that have conflict potential.
You will understand that genuine appreciation means above all having a genuine interest in people’s motives for action in order to be able to deal constructively with different behavioral strategies and thus minimize the risks of conflict.
You reflect on your own motives for action, your own relationship to conflicts as well as your previous conflict behavior and discover development potentials and possibilities for yourself to be able to resolve conflicts constructively.
In addition to technical input, the seminar primarily provides space for guided self-reflection, collegial exchange, discussion and the development of creative, practice-oriented implementation ideas for the constructive resolution of conflicts.
The seminar “Conflict Management” is based on the model of basic psychological needs of the behavioral therapist Klaus Grawe and on insights from the conflict research of Friedrich Glasl.
