Anyone who structures meetings in such a way that they are perceived as enriching by all participants will ignite creative fireworks in their meetings.
On the way to positively perceived meetings, the first step is therefore to find out what causes us to simply switch off at some point. Long-winded presentations are one important reason. Excessively long and frequent speeches by “opinion leaders” are another. If discussions then go round in circles or are even aimlessly beaten around the bush, the participants must inevitably feel that a meeting is a waste of time. And then they switch off. This happens particularly quickly in online meetings, which require a special degree of structure, self-discipline and attention.
