After 20 years of professional experience in the private sector (transport & logistics, telecommunications and in mechanical and plant engineering) and a trainer training at Kepner Tregoe in London, I made a very conscious decision to “switch sides”.
In my last job, I had the opportunity to build up, strategically manage and operationally coach 150 project teams in 25 countries for 4 years.
After professional excursions into global human resources development, I have found for myself that projects and processes are actually what I enjoy most.
Every time, a project is a journey with different issues and different characters and political interests that need to be understood and taken into account as economically and sensibly as possible. Sometimes the goal of the project is clearly defined, sometimes you have to clear the fog first with your team to get a clearer view of the requirements.
