Your Situation
Employees of all business segments, especially from research and development as well as quality assurance who plan or conduct tests. Prerequisite: participation in the seminar "The Fundamentals of Statistics and Statistical Analysis".
Your Benefit
The statistical design of experiments serves to make the implementation of complex test questions and an empirically based statistical analysis more efficient. This seminar will offer participants knowledge of how experiments can clarify the functions of a system or process. A better understanding and knowledge of these processes enables the person to exercise a more focused influence. The methods addressed are: planning (estimating the required testing time), reliability (estimation of risks from misstatements) and resource-conservation (related to the complexity of the question).
Contents
The following themes will be addressed in the seminar:
- Screening Designs
- Response Surface Designs
- Mixture Designs
- Mixture Process Designs
- Multi Response Optimization
- Experiment management
The statistical design of experiments and analysis will be conducted with STATGRAPHICS and other programs. Exercises will be done in form of simulations. Upon request, specific work cases from the participants can be addressed
