Sandra Schumacher

Trainer and Consultant at CONTUR

Sandra Schumacher was born in Hanover in 1976 and grew up in the beautiful region of Wedemark.

She studied economics and social sciences at the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel and received her diploma in social economics in 2001.

Before joining CONTUR in 2018, she worked in different areas: until 2002, she worked as an assistant to the CEO of Mobilcom AG, then she worked as a process and quality manager for T-Online International AG. Until 2011, she was project manager for Quality & Remediation Management at DB Stadtverkehr GmbH, until 2016 program manager for an international project portfolio at Forbo Movement Systems and finally until 2018 Global Head of Personnel Development at Forbo Movement Systems. Since 2018, she has been the Head of the Project Management competence area at CONTUR GmbH and works as a trainer and consultant. In addition to her degree and the multitude of diverse professional experiences Sandra Schumann brings with her, her acquired qualifications in the area of Black Belt Lean Six Sigma (Pyzdek Institute Arizona) and as a Kepner Tregoe certified Program Leader and Trainer for Project Managers also benefit her for the work at CONTUR.

In addition to activities in classic, hybrid and agile project management, process management and human resources and organizational development, Sandra Schumacher is also involved in consulting and supporting project management systems with company-wide standards for processes, templates, roles and reporting. She gives individual coaching for project managers in running projects and trainings (virtual and F2F) for methodical and socio-emotional skills of project managers (classic, hybrid & agile, Digital High Intense Trainings). Furthermore, she is responsible for the support of change processes and moderates various workshops. For CONTUR, Sandra Schumacher has not only worked in Germany, but has also had many international assignments throughout Europe, the USA, Southeast Asia, China, India, Japan and South Korea.

Sandra Schumacher has a preference for sushi and tapas. She enjoys doing yoga and Pilates and being outside riding her road bike or walking her dog. Her vices include shopping and computer gaming.
