TELL SOMETHING ABOUT YOU
I grew up on the Baltic Sea, spent my university years in Bremen and I live with my small family in southern Lower Saxony near Göttingen after my stay abroad. I like to spend my free time in nature, either jogging or hiking. As a balance to the often chaotic family life, I regularly go to the sauna or consciously take time for meditation & mindfulness. Development and learning are high on my list of priorities, so I always carry a good book or at least my headphones with me. I love to try new (and unusual) things and experience transformation, be it in myself or in my counterpart.
Your way to CONTUR
I first got to know the world of trainers when I was allowed to participate in the train-the-trainer certification of the umbrella organisation as a student management consultant in 2016. I was so enthusiastic about the 7-day training that I subsequently volunteered as part of the management team of the B.D.S.U. TrainerAkademie to help shape the training and further education of other trainers. After completing my Master’s degree in Business Psychology, I lived for three and a half years in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, during which time I was able to strengthen not only my intercultural skills but also, as a young mother of two children, my personal self-competence. Back in Germany, I started my professional career as a junior trainer for team development, especially accompanying outdoor trainings with a strong action- and experience-oriented approach. The desire for personal and professional development led me to CONTUR, where I now support the digital learning team and am able to dedicate myself specifically to a topic for which I not only have the theory from my studies, but also a private passion: self-leadership.
