Dr. Kerstin Barghorn

Dr. Kerstin Barghorn lives and works in the Taunus region near Wiesbaden. She has been working in personnel and organizational development for over 20 years and joined the CONTUR team in 2016. Her industry focus is on the automotive, banking/insurance and pharmaceutical sectors.

Kerstin Barghorn studied psychology at the Philipps University of Marburg and gained international experience early on through her studies at Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield Missouri, USA. She then completed her doctorate at the University of Osnabrück on the subject of “Attitudes of employees in professional change processes”. After graduating, Kerstin Barghorn began her career in a management consultancy and then moved into internal personnel and organizational development at two insurance companies. She then worked independently for several years before taking over the management of the Assessment Solutions division at CONTUR. Kerstin Barghorn is now self-employed again.

As part of our partner network, she focuses on two areas. One focus is on business coaching in the areas of leadership, soft skills and conflict moderation. Another focus is the design of assessment procedures (e.g. potential analyses and selection procedures for all target groups) and the debriefing of personality questionnaires such as HOGAN, WorkplaceBigFive, ADEPT-15 and DISG.

Kerstin Barghorn is a business coach and has completed additional certified training in accordance with the guidelines of the DCV (Rhein-Main University of Applied Sciences). She has also completed additional training, e.g. as a systemic consultant (WISPO), online trainer (CONTUR) and in managing group processes (ComTeam) and the Four Rooms of Change (CONTUR). She is also certified to work with the personality tests listed above.

Kerstin Barghorn conducts all measures in German or English, online, onsite or blended as required.

In her free time, she enjoys sports as a balance, reads a lot and travels to the sea or the mountains.
