Michael, pronounced Mai-kel, has only lived in Germany for a little over 20 years – although he has his roots there! He spent the first half of his life in his native USA, where he studied biology (with a minor in psychology) and gained his first professional experience. His life path then took him to Asia, where he gained further learning experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Japan. A sidetrip to France for his MBA, then led him to career moves as a management consultant, brand manager and training manager with major international corporations within Europe. The last position then served Michael as a gateway to his Ikigai, his “life path”, as it was there that he began working as a trainer and coach. And for more than 20 years he has followed this mission with passion, love and (mostly) good humor.

The combination of international work experience, various employments in different positions and industries and a natural openness and curiosity offer Michael a diverse range of perspectives and approaches that serve him well in his role as a leadership, team and personal developer. One of his favorite questions is “… and what else?”, a question that helps open doors and change perspectives when obstacles and challenges arise.

And when facilitation and consulting are more in demand than coaching, Michael also brings strategic thinking and creative problem-solving to the table to navigate meetings and workshops in a flexible but goal-oriented way.
