Nicole Smeal-Biber grew up in the USA in a countryside area in Pennsylvania. There she studied International Business and German Studies at Juniata College. Very interested in the German language, Nicole Smeal-Biber decided to travel to Germany for further studies and started studying International Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences in Gelsenkirchen. Germany thus became her adopted country. Now she lives in Frankfurt am Main with her husband and young daughter. She particularly likes the diversity and internationality of the city.

After her business studies, it emerged clearly for Nicole Smeal-Biber that she would prefer to work in the field of education and training. So she then started a job in intercultural education, planning and leading many workshops and seminars. During these activities, she discovered her passion for working as a trainer and coach and joined the CONTUR GmbH as a product manager. Now she works as a freelance consultant and trainer in the network of CONTUR. She prefers to give trainings that focus on self-reflection and goal-oriented work with the strengths and potentials of the individual. Thus, she is much in use in the area of self-management, self-confidence and communication. She also gives high potentials trainings, as well as courses on presentation techniques or team development.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her international circle of friends. Nicole Smeal-Biber loves to be out in nature and is very involved with yoga, Pilates and the topic of mindfulness in general. She enjoys cooking and has a preference for good wines. She also regularly attends theater plays – preferably comedies – has been in plays herself and would love to get back into it if the opportunity presents itself.
