Course description
Your situation
Agile project work has been/will be introduced into many business areas in order to react faster and more directly to changing customer and market requirements and demands. Agile methods in a project enable reflection and action logic which is characterized strongly by innovation and self-management. You are experienced in handling the traditional basics of project management and have now been charged with leading an agile project team or becoming an agile team member. In order to better understand the underlying values and principles as a basis for the agile way of doing business in a project as well as the methods and techniques and/or to prepare yourself for your role as an agile project leader, you would like to understand and apply the theory surrounding agile project work.
Your benefit
You will get to know the differences and similarities between traditional and agile project management. On the basis of the agile manifest, you will learn to select and apply the appropriate methods and techniques for your project. In addition, you will learn the basics of collaboration and how to deal with challenges in agile project teams. In conclusion, you will be given an overview of leadership approaches on the basis of agile values. With the support of practical case examples, you will put agile techniques directly into practice and thereby get a first impression of how you can integrate what you have learned into your personal everyday business.
Selected agile techniques will be applied in team work situations based on concrete examples from the participant group. You may, of course, bring along your own project topics and work on them.
