Causes and typical patterns of conflicts in projects:

– Misunderstandings
– Unresolved roles and working relationships
– Frustration and demotivation
– Cultural differences in behaviour

Ways of resolving such conflicts and critical situations:

– Transactional analysis: recognising and breaking through negative communication patterns.
– Conflict types: better understanding different personalities in the conflict and adapting one’s own behaviour to them
– Constructive conflict management according to the Harvard concept
– Controlling conflict discussions through questioning techniques

Self-management in conflicts:

– Knowing your own hot buttons
– Not taking conflict and resistance personally

The contents are conveyed in a mix of professional method input, small group work and examples from the trainer and applied to concrete questions of the participants.
