Course Description
With the adoption of the CSRD, many companies will be required to prepare a sustainability report in the coming years. Even if your company is not directly affected by the reporting obligation, business partners, investors or employees demand sustainable management from your company and transparent, credible communication about this.
If you are dealing with the topic of sustainability reporting for the first time, our basic training offers you the ideal introduction. We start with the why, teach the what, and get specific with the how. As a follow-up, you can implement your action plan.
Even though the legal framework is just being created in the EU, the topic of sustainability reporting is not new. You will learn more about its origins, importance and what added value it brings to companies.
You will then receive an overview of relevant, internationally recognized standards and learn which requirements for companies result from these standards.
After you know the why and the what, this training is about the how: What steps are necessary to create a good sustainability report? Materiality and stakeholder analysis are important elements, clear responsibilities, supporting tools and target group-oriented communication also play a role.
Gain insights into the practical implementation of other companies in the form of best practice examples.
What will you concretely take away from the training? You will create an individual action plan with which you can start implementing directly after the training.
