Course Description

With the adoption of the CSRD, many companies will be required to prepare a sustainability report in the coming years. Even if your company is not directly affected by the reporting obligation, business partners, investors or employees demand sustainable management from your company and transparent, credible communication about this.

If you are dealing with the topic of sustainability reporting for the first time, our basic training offers you the ideal introduction. We start with the why, teach the what, and get specific with the how. As a follow-up, you can implement your action plan.

Even though the legal framework is just being created in the EU, the topic of sustainability reporting is not new. You will learn more about its origins, importance and what added value it brings to companies.

You will then receive an overview of relevant, internationally recognized standards and learn which requirements for companies result from these standards.

After you know the why and the what, this training is about the how: What steps are necessary to create a good sustainability report? Materiality and stakeholder analysis are important elements, clear responsibilities, supporting tools and target group-oriented communication also play a role.

Gain insights into the practical implementation of other companies in the form of best practice examples.

What will you concretely take away from the training? You will create an individual action plan with which you can start implementing directly after the training.

Even if there is no reporting obligation for the own company, more and more suppliers, customers, investors and last but not least employees demand sustainable management and a stronger consideration of social and ecological topics. The sustainability report enables transparent, credible communication about this.

Depending on the standard selected, issues such as resource management, emissions, human rights, equality, compliance, etc. must be addressed.

Credibility. The development of a sustainable corporate strategy, its consistent implementation in the organization, and regular performance reviews form the best basis for successful sustainability reporting.

Hybrid Project Management

Traditionally, there are two dominant project management methods: the "classic" and the "agile" approach.

In classic project management, the course of the project is planned sequentially, with clear phases and fixed milestones. Agile approaches, on the other hand, are iterative and incremental, emphasizing close team collaboration and adaptation to changing requirements.

Some projects, however, need a good mix of both worlds: hybrid project management. Here, individual work packages or subprojects are handled agilely, while the rest of the project continues according to the classic approach.
